Mortgage Rates this weekend(11/14/08 to 11/17/08 Til 9:30AM Monday) for Edina Realty Mortgage 30 Year Fixed Conventional is 6.0-6.125%, 30 Year Fixed FHA/VA is 6.125-6.375%... No change from last weekend! Buyers should not wait any longer - As rates go up their buying power goes down! You will notice ERM is now quoting a range of rates. Depending on the investor they work with & the amount of down payment the buyer has the rates may vary. They now have Private Mortgage Banking options.
Equity decreased in the 13 county Twin Cities Metro area by 12.8% through October of 2008 compared to the same time frame in 2007! The Buyers market continues with a LOT of DEALS to be had, but initial signs of a shift are continuing....
